How to Set Up IPTV on Chromecast/Google TV: A Simple Guide

What You Need

• A Chromecast with Google TV (or a Google TV device)
• An IPTV subscription (with an M3U URL or Xtream Codes: URL, username, password)
• A stable internet connection

Step 1: Prepare Your Device

1. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources
   • Go to Settings > System > About > Android TV OS Build (click it 7 times to enable Developer Options).
   • Then go to Settings > Apps > Security & Restrictions > Unknown Sources and turn it on for the Downloader app (you’ll install this next).
2. Install Downloader App
   • Open the Google Play Store on your Google TV.
   • Search for “Downloader” and install it.

Step 2: Download IPTV Smarters Pro

1. Open the Downloader app.
2. Type this URL: https://privateiptv.nl/apps/smarters.apk.
3. Press Go and wait for the file to download.
4. When prompted, select Install to add IPTV Smarters Pro to your device.

Step 3: Set Up IPTV Smarters Pro

1. Launch IPTV Smarters Pro from your Google TV apps menu.
2. Choose your login method:
   • M3U URL: Paste the M3U link from your IPTV provider.
   • OR Xtream Codes: Enter these details (from your provider’s email):

3. Tap Add or Login.
